Cockle shell drop earrings

A delightfully tactile Cockle shell, cast in sterling silver from one that I found during a paddle on the Sunny Sands beach in Folkestone.

The Cockle shells are hollow so they are lightweight yet strong, with sterling silver earring hooks and carry a Birmingham Assay Office Hallmark.

Shell size approximately: 14mm wide x 12.5mm long.

Earring drop length: 28mm
